RiverBlue traveled to Valencia to meet with Enrique Silva the owner of Jeanologia. This company creates equipment to help in the finishing of jeans. We had heard that Francois Girbaud was instrumental in working with Enrique to build their ozone machines which provide the faded denim look that is in such demand. Jeanologia also manufactures equipment that use lasers which can create repeatable and distinctive distressed look. When we were speaking with Enrique we had mentioned we had been trying to get an interview with Francois but our efforts to get to him went unresponded. Enrique immediately got on the phone with Francois and a week later we were in Los Angeles shooting with Francois.
